Description: Painting with data, this image shows the measurement of 5 parameters describing some aspects of the flow of the Sacramento River in the Winter of 2022, starting on Dec 21, 2022 and ending on March 19, 2023. The 5 parameters are rainfall, river gage, river flow rate, windspeed and temperature. Time runs from left to right, while the flow of the river runs from top (Mount Shasta) to bottom (San Francisco Bay). In the study, the artist worked out most of the data sources and the code required to generate this type of image. The winter 2022 study features different colors than the Winter 2023 final version, because the study colors did not "look good" with the 2023 data.
