Description: The term “best light” is an instruction given to motion picture lab technicians to set the color and light values of a roll of film. Rather than adjusting these values for individual shots, which is both costly and time consuming, the colorist will set a single averaged value for an entire reel of film. The film presented here is being shown unedited, uncropped, and unfinished. It is a possible film, not yet manipulated by the editing process. In its best light, in other words.
