Description: In the painting I’ve included here, there are several things collapsing together, indoor and outdoor space, daylight and moonlight, flesh and plastic. The painting does include still life elements, but it’s not a still life per se. The painting is a construction, and most of the elements are either painted from observation or from memory of things observed in the immediate vicinity of where the painting was made.
