Description: This work is one of three paintings built upon the same underlying composition. I began by developing the composition as a black-and-white drawing, which allowed me to focus fully on color in the paintings. The imagery emerges intuitively through the process—gesture drawing is almost always my starting point, with details gradually refined as the piece evolves. I trust intuition to guide my hand, allowing the work to take shape organically over time.
